I think I’ve been awake for something like 21 hours, I may not be making sense.
Back to Seattle – it’s in the 80s here but a very different 80s than night time Tolouse. Quite comfortable! Customs line was frightfully long but went fairly quickly. The Walseth Brompton arrived in its packaging (haven’t looked inside yet).
After 250+ miles in 6 days in the blistering heat I think I can officially say that Brooks leather saddles fit me right. Thankfully I’ve been hoarding them over the years and I have a small flotilla of them.
I also made a last minute impulse purchase of Anti-Monkey-Butt powder. Not sure it was the most effective thing, but I think I’ll keep using it.
Back in 36 hours or so when I catch up time zone wise…
