Critical learning periods and psychadelics

Tl;Dr: maybe a psychedelic can allow you to relearn things like you were a kid. Podcast

There is some experimental evidence to suggest that psychadelics can re-open critical learning periods: in mice, those that had MDMA were better able to learn from peers. The pod cast above goes on to make a bunch of pretty serious claims about how this might apply to people.

Questions:

1. what is the evidence for this in people?

2. They claim that the window open period is related to the length of trip, where does this claim come from?

3. If you were able to open a period, how would you use that time to change yourself?

4. Is longer or shorter window better?

5. What is the evidence related to alcoholism?

6. How would you use other windows, especially related to auditory processing and misophonia
