Tl;Dr: To keep recovery day exciting, have more flats!
Slightly less early start in Sette, but that didn’t keep me from flatting 20 min into the ride. Damn TPU tubes. Switched the front to butyl, and pushed a bit to catch up.
Very flat ride today – basically bike paths, either Gravel or Paved. Mostly along the coast or the canals. Stopped for first & second breakfast. 2nd was… Disappointing. Construction machines, adequate toast, very noisy.
Lots of people on bikes, the path along the canal was very popular.
Peid de tier apparently means walk your bike, which I failed to do at one point and took a tiny spill.
Then fixing the tube in the rear was challenging, I pinched the tube on the first try and had trouble patching but made it work.
Bezier is at the top of a hill, a bit of a slog getting up to the center.
We stopped at Les Halles for lunch – amazing. Why don’t we have good courts like this in the US?!?

Our Airbnb was on the 3rd (4th) floor, no AC. Nicely but strangely appointed. Very hot.
None the less, I slept well and awoke refreshed.
